Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are between you and Mas Vuka (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/820444/07, with its registered office at 1 Acacia Ln, Riverglen, Midrand, Gauteng, 2191 (“Mas Vuka”, “we”, “us”), the seller and operator of the Mas Vuka platform. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

2. The service

Mas Vuka provides South African labour-law information, calculators, document templates, workflow tooling and an AI information assistant. Mas Vuka is a software and information product only. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal, professional or regulated advisory services, and using the service does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified labour practitioner or attorney.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including by:

  • using it for any unlawful purpose, fraud or spam;
  • infringing anyone’s intellectual property rights;
  • interfering with the service’s security, including malware, probing or scraping;
  • reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service, or circumventing plan limits;
  • submitting content you have no right to use, or using AI outputs to mislead, defame or discriminate.

You are responsible for your inputs to the AI assistant, for how you use its outputs, and for verifying their accuracy before acting on them.

4. Intellectual property

Mas Vuka retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, templates and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You grant us a limited licence to host and process content you submit, solely to provide the service to you.

5. Accounts

Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for providing accurate information and keeping it up to date.

6. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled. Once-off document packs do not renew. Our refund terms are set out in our refund policy.

7. Service level

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of these terms. When access ends, you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
